"Thanks to your blog which refreshed my old memories of BAM. Almost after 4 decades I got in touch with Anil. The best thing is that Anil's father, whom we used to call as Jijaji, has come down to Bhubaneswar to stay with Anil and I heard his voice after 4 decades. Jiajai was very affectionate and we spoke for almost 10 minutes. In BAM we were neighbors in Dwaraka Nivas in Giri Road, opposite to Gurudwara. I left BAM in 1975 to Pune and then left Pune in 1980 for Kurnool (AP). I have settled down in Kurnool and not gone to BAM since 1975. So talking to Jijaji and Anil brought back old memories and the years that we stayed in BAM. In fact I was born in BAM in the year 1953 and stayed for 22 years and your blog has made me to visit my birth place soon. "

"I have become a regular reader of two blogs that deal with my home town Berhampur exclusively. First one is this svc blog that brings Berhampurians together and the second is futureberhampur blog. Memories of Berhampur come alive when I visit these blogs. Good work sir. Abhisek"

"Dear All, I came across this blog recently and was thrilled to see so many people from my city Berhampur in this platform. Since that day I have not missed a single topic posted here. What I gather after reading the blog is most of the people from my city who are in this platform are leading successful careers in their own fields and settled in various parts of the world. I feel both happy and sad. Happy because you all have your roots in Berhampur and sad because Berhampur desperately needs its successful people to return and build the future of this city which is not happening. Someone who is still struggling in career, I am not the right person to suggest things to the achievers of my city who are much much elder to me, but I feel that if you want you can lift this city from its present conditions and that will be the biggest guru dakshina that one can give his almamater and birth place. Invest in your city and create opportunities here that is what I can urge before concluding. Cheers, Prasad Berhampur "

"Koi lauta de mere beethe din!!! Friends, SVCites and countrymen, I did one year of schooling in SVC in 1969. My classmates were Faiyaz, Tasneem and Enarkay (in Cuttack Stewarts). I really enjoy browsing through the articles. I can still feel Mrs. Shamim watching me even after these many years. Best of luck to this scintillating blog."

"Your blog brought back the memory of my bygone days that I spent in my birth place Berhampur aka Bramhapur. One of your blog members is my younger brother and another one, the most popular person of your blog, was my neighbor. I am a regular visitor to your blog and the reason for my intruding is to know about Bramhapur and also to know who is where. Your blog made me to rewind and look into the past. All joyful memories came back as black & white movie in front of my closed eyes. I appreciate you for starting the blog. Your blog is a common platform for SVCians and more SVCians must post their views. "
